My Story

I’m Zoë, a Super 8 wedding filmmaker based in Atlanta. I began shooting on Super 8 when my husband and I bought a Nizo S1 to document our own wedding three years ago. We loved how it captured the day unobtrusively, with a timeless beauty and nostalgic feel that digital couldn’t match. That experience inspired me to offer the same to other couples.

My background in independent filmmaking shapes how I work. I take an observational approach, focusing on natural beauty and genuine moments while avoiding anything staged or overdone. In the edit, I focus on rhythm and subtlety, letting the imagery and music mainly guide the story.

While I specialize in Super 8, I also offer digital add-ons designed to complement the film rather than compete with it. Digital is used sparingly, often for brief sound bites or moments that enhance the story. You can learn more about my approach and packages here.

Alongside weddings, I produce independent films with my husband. Our most recent short screened at the Rome International Film Festival and the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
