WHAT IS SUPER 8MM?
Super 8mm is an analog film format introduced in 1965, loved for its softness, grain, and unmistakable warmth. Each roll records around 3 minutes of footage, meaning every frame is chosen with care. After filming, the rolls are sent to a lab for development and high-resolution scanning. Once digitized, I personally color grade each shot, drawing out the tones and subtle variations that give film its depth and character.
For couples who want to capture longer moments from the day, I offer digital coverage options. Since Super 8 film does not record sound, digital allows for audio from the day to be recorded. My approach to digital video is designed to complement rather than compete with the nostalgic look of Super 8 film.

ABOUT ME
I’m Zoë, a Super 8 specialized wedding filmmaker based in Atlanta. My background in independent filmmaking shapes how I work. I take an observational approach, focusing on natural beauty and genuine moments while avoiding anything overly staged. In the edit, I focus on rhythm and subtlety, letting the imagery and music mainly guide the story.
Alongside weddings, I produce and edit independent films with my husband. Our most recent short screened at the Rome International Film Festival and the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
